Case Notes:

Richard Malcolm Levesque – Extraordinary soldier and “Recipient” of the Gallantry Medal”.

Levesque resides in the suburb of Theodore, Canberra in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). He served in the Australian Defence force during 2004 and 2005. There are two versions of Richard Levesque’s military career.

Levesque’s Version

His version has been carefully documented on various Statutory Declarations and submitted by those who have been so much in awe of his achievements, that they felt it their duty to tell us about this “hero”.  According to Levesque, his military career included the following:

Was the youngest person to have served with 2 Commando Regt (2 CDO) having joined at the age of sixteen years and eight months

Had multiple “back to back” tours of Afghanistan with 2 CDO.

Was also deployed to Somalia and Operation Desert Storm in Iraq.

In Afghanistan worked under cover in market places to gain intelligence (obviously it didn’t work as he appears to have none)

Watched whilst fifty Taliban were bulldozed into a mass grave.

Has shot and killed Taliban.

Suffers from Post Traumatic Stress disorder resulting from his war service.

Claims to be the recipient of a Department of Veterans Affairs Pension.

Was awarded Gallantry Medal for his courageous service

He wore medals on ANZAC Day 2012 to the Calwell Club, Calwell ACT. On a more recent social occasion Levesque advised his “mates” that he had been “awarded” the Gallantry Medal and arranged an official dinner to celebrate the occasion.

Levesque’s version of his service is one of being a much deployed gallant, hardened “Fighting Veteran” who, for his bravery in action, was awarded a much deserved Gallantry Medal.

A more accurate version of his service

We are reliably advised that the truth of Levesque’s Defence Service varies from what he claims; in fact there are no similarities whatsoever.

He was enlisted into the Army in March 2004

He was discharged in November 2005 for the reason that “Retention was not in the interest of the Service.

During his whole service he was classified as a “Recruit” or a “Trainee”

He failed all of the training he attempted

He was never deployed to any operational area

Earned no medals whatsoever.

Levesque, in reality, is a contemptible liar, cheat and wannabe who has committed serious criminal offences against the Defence Act 1903 Section 7 Parts 80A and 80B

80A. Falsely representing to be a returned soldier.

80B. Improper use of service decorations.

Both of these offences have a maximum fine of $3,300 or six months imprisonment or both.

Levesque obviously has the Walter Mitty syndrome and is grossly and offensively exaggerating his military service.

He will no longer be able to “blow his trumpet” about his military service, because we know, and you know, and he knows, that as a soldier, he was a complete dud and as a civilian he is a liar, cheat and wannabe.

From now on any person who types the name “Levesque” into a computer search engine will be led to this exposure.
