Case Notes:

Paul Jenkyn - Got a surprise when he was leaving  the Navy.

In this exposure we ask you to be the judge, we will give no opinion one way or the other. A less than open organization, may well tell Jenkyn to go to hell, and accept the fact that he has been caught telling lies, and decided to tell an even bigger lie to cover his tracks. We however will not say such a thing.

Jenkyn-1

Jenkyn-2

Above is a present day photograph and a photograph from when he was a young sailor.

At a Vietnam Veterans Counselling Service, Lifestyle Course on the Sunshine Coast, he introduced himself as an ex Navy Clearance Diver who changed to Special Air Services Regiment (SASR) who had been deployed to Somalia and Rwanda and was involved in the SASR tragic Blackhawk Helicopter accident at High Range in the Townsville area of Queensland on the 12 June 1996.

For a bit of extra passion he included that he held his dying mate after the accident until he took his last breath.  When asked about his Rwanda service he could answer none of the questions about the deployment and said it was because “of being in “hides” and taking out high ranking targets with snipers”. His knowledge of Somalia was equally as vague and he could not answer any questions posed.

It is known that Jenkyn had been telling his wife tales of his “Deployments” for the whole ten years they had been together.

As well as spruiking at the Lifestyle Course he also committed his “Deployments” in writing on his Facebook page:  See below:

Jenkyn-3

Jenkyn-4

During the Lifestyle Course, and on his facebook page, he was questioned about his “stories” and he realized that his deception would no longer serve.

The nub of his problem was that he claims, he was hiding the real reason for his Post Traumatic Stress Disorder “PTSD” and in fairness we present his alternative story.

Below you will read that on the last or second last day of his service in the Navy, he was raped by another “Sailor” before being cast adrift.  Read on:

“After receiving a phone call from your organisation yesterday the following is a post from my wife on a support for PTSD s on Face book & quot (sic);

So thankfully things have been going really well at home over the past few weeks... until today. Some guy rang Paul from ANZMI about people saying things that weren't true about their military service. Paul again went through the whole thing, dragged up the past, talked about what had happened to him and why this story developed. Apparently this guy just laughed at him.

(Note: Unfortunately the ANZMI Investigator did “snigger’, but only once, and that was when Jenkyn stated that DVA would not accept his compensation claim because the rape did not occur during working hours. For this peccadillo, the ANZMI investigator has been given anti sniggering counseling)

Of course Paul got so angry. What do you expect? I can understand why these people may be upset with people that do this stuff but they're friggin' insensitive and nieve (sic) if they think that all stories are the same and these guys are bad people. We talk about supporting people with a mental illness, not shaming them. People that then decide that shaming is the best action are immatture (sic) and just showing that they are just as emotionally immature as those they are attacking

Even worse though is that they are doing it with the arrogance of entitlement and defence.

So if I told you all I was a model or Doctor or some other prestigious occupation to cover up the fact that I felt so shit about myself because I was raped would you all shame me?

It's such a massive kick in the pants. 4 weeks ago he was close to suicide. I was going mental and so worried about how I would tell our daughter that Daddy wasn't around. My heart was breaking when xxxxxx was telling me that Daddy was going somewhere and not coming back.

I was close to suicide because I just couldn't cope anymore. The only thing keeping me alive was my daughter. I didn't really care what happened to me. I just wanted this circus, this anger and craziness to end. I have since turned a corner. I have done another course with VVCS, got heaps of support for myself and it's been only a few weeks that I'm waking up feeling happy, happy to be alive, just that spontaneous kind of happy that I haven't felt in years.

Much of this is also due to watching Paul turn things around. He's been through a massive cathartic time, a time to reassess his values and fight for what he wants. He's thrown himself into therapy, and this time the consistent therapy he needs, with weekly appointments, exercising and really trying. It's been a thrill to watch him grow and face his demons, and his vulnerability... now this dickhead that rang today apparently just sniggered and laughed at Paul when he poured his heart out.

His story is one he's kept to himself for nearly 20 years and I know that his main reason for pushing on, for staying alive is me, and xxxxx. Now that's not friggin fair. Paul hasn't deliberately hurt anyone.

Yes he has a poison toungue (sic) at time which is charged with so much anger from so much pain he's capable of flying off the handle at anyone, and as much as I understand that is PTSD. He hasn't molestered (sic) anyone, or a murderer or a criminal, he hasn't ripped off anyone or got anything he wasn't entitled too.

He was just trying to save face when inside he felt like absolute shit about some terrible abuse he copped on his last day in the Navy. Enough of my ranting, but probably a positive one in that I'm actually proud of my husband here.

A guy who's doing his best with the hand he's been delt (sic)... it's just a shame that there's insensitive arseholes out there that must have such a shit life that all they want to do is to make someone else's miserable to make them feel better.... Now I will have my say. As I can see from your website you do not have the guts to provided any contact phone numbers. But thus will not be an issues for me .

I will be reporting you Monday morning to DVA, VVCS, DART the Police for harassment   and will be discussing this issue with my legal council. You have this agenda to find imposters, and I understand that cause.

You don't not represent the Government in any capacity. And to have Bill who called me laughing at me as I tried to explain that I was brutally raped on my last day of service and need an excuse to show sympathy for my aggressive outbursts is utterly deplorable. You have know idea on the ramifications this phone call has had on me but as Bill said yesterday , he does not care.

I have never been to an Anzac parade since 1986 out of disgust by the way I was treated by the ADF on my last day of service. I have cleared my name on the &quot s=(sic);Help a digger make a call&quot (sic);

Face book page telling all what had happened to me and that is the end of it. The feed back I have received from FB is you are a pack of faceless trolls.  You take me on and I have more resources and time available to make it my mission in life to hold you accountable for my mental well being. I didn't ask to be drugged and raped on my second last day of service. I have suffered enough over 20 yrs of denial and shame.

So have some guts and provide the full name of this person who phoned me yesterday , your address and phone number so the authorities can find you in 5 mins as opposed to 30 min

I closing, go to hell”

Even a cursory read of Jenkyn’s letter will show that it was not written by his wife as he has botched up his personal pronouns.

For at least ten years Jenkyn has been “an heroic returned veteran” and when caught out, he diverted to plan “B”.

One may well think that Jenkyn invented the bizarre rape story to explain his ten years of lies and deception about being a Navy Clearance Diver, and a Special Air Service Trooper, who saw active service.

Jenkyn is currently pushing a compensation claim through DVA.  We believe the alleged rapist has been named, but it’s a pity that the accused person has passed on and cannot refute Jenkyn’s allegations.

Jenkyn has been lying about his service for ten years and when caught out, has produced a bizarre alternative story.

The evidence showing Jenkyn to be a lying, fraud and a wannabe for ten years is irrefutable.

As far as his rape story is concerned, we let you be the judge.

There is no need for a hasty decision, as it envisaged that Jenkyn will remain here for a long time.

This is published in the public interest, veterans of all conflicts, in particular that of the Vietnam Veteran Community. All information presented here is fact and the truth. Reports from the private citizens are supported by statement of fact and statutory declarations.

Surname: Caesar
Christian Names: Graeme Rex
Country: Australia
State or Province: Queensland
City or Town: Elanora, Gold Coast
Service #: R58130
Service: RAN
Branch: Submarine
Commencement of service: 02 July 1961
Completion of service: 01 July 1970
Case Notes:

Graeme Rex Caesar enlisted in the RAN in 1961. He was 18 years of age when he signed on for 9 years. On his Linked in page he claimed 20 years RAN Submarine service. (1961 - 1981) Although since our recent contact with him, he has now changed these dates to (1961 - April, 1970) 9 years Submarine Service. These changed dates are significant as you read on.

Caesar is currently the Interim National President of the Submarines Association of Australia (SAA). This Association has branches in all states of Australia. Caesar was the President of the Queensland Branch prior to his being appointed Interim National President in early 2014. He claims to have been awarded a Doctorate in Philosophy (Phd), Organisational Management at Harvard University (USA), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Psychology at Oxford University.(UK)

He refers to himself as Doctor Graeme Caesar.

The National AGM for the SAA will be held in Fremantle, Western Australia from the 7 November, 2014 to the 14 November, 2014. It will be the commemoration of 100 years of Australian Submarine Service since 1914 when the first two Australian Submarines AE1 and AE2 served in the First World War. There will be a number of International submariners from various countries also attending in addition to Federal Politicians.

Caesar is expected to stand and be voted in as the substantive National President at that conference. It is a prestige position.

Unfortunately for Caesar though, he is an imposter and a military fraud.

In 18 months, Caesar's medal rack with additional clasps has more than doubled.

On the 5 January, 2010, the photograph below was posted on his Facebook page.

Caesar is wearing the following medals with his Coast Guard mess jacket.

1. The Australian Active Service medal 1945-1975. One clasp. (AASM)
2. The Australian Service Medal 1945-1975 with one clasp. (ASM)
3. The Australian Defence Medal. (ADM)
4. The Pingat Jasa Malaysia medal.

In a photograph posted on his Facebook on the 28 July, 2011, eighteen months later, Caesar is wearing significantly more medals as indicated below -;

1. Australian Active Service Medal 1945-1975 with clasps Malaysia and South Vietnam.
2. General Service Medal 1962 with clasps Borneo and South Vietnam.
3. Australian Vietnam Medal.
4. Australian Service Medal 1945-1975, with clasps - Special Ops, FESR (Far East Strategic Reserve) and PNG. (Papua New Guinea.)
5. National Medal.
6. Australian Defence Medal.
7. Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. (181 days or more operational service in South Vietnam or Vietnamese waters)
8. Pingat Jasa Medal. (90 days operational service in Borneo, Malaysia waters.)
9. Community Service Medal. (tin unofficial medal.)
10. 2001 Year of the Volunteer medal. (tin Commemorative medal.)

You might wonder how we can identify the clasps on all his medals in the above photograph. It was easy. Although not in correct order, he describes them on his Linked In page below.

Caesar came to our notice recently due to the rapid increase of medals and clasps to his rack over the past few years.

We obtained a copy of Caesar's Naval Record. Entries pertaining to his postings do not match his claimed medals entitlement.

As a consequence, we contacted Caesar in writing and requested information from him regarding his Naval service and the medal entitlements he claims. We requested any documentation that might support his assertions. A simple request just to address the anomalies regarding his service record and his claims. Caesar failed to respond.

However, a concerned Non Executive ordinary member of the Submarines Association Australia, sent us a copy of a communication written by Caesar that he received erroneously.

See below -;

For the personal information of the SAA National Executive, National Committee and National Officers

Gentlemen,

I have been contacted by a somewhat secretive unofficial group who call themselves the Australian and New Zealand Military Imposters wanting to know about periods of my service that do not appear in the publicly available records.

Like a lot of you, I saw service in Submarines and other Ships and Postings that is not on the public record and perhaps never will be, and I have no intention of replying to their enquiry nor entering into any correspondence of any sort with them.

Yours aye,
Graeme
Dr. Graeme Caesar
National President
Submarines Association Australia

Now you would think that if you received a simple request to provide details of your distinguished military career in campaigns that allegedly involved operational service in Malaysia, Borneo and Vietnam, you would be only too happy to respond like all genuine veterans do when we request information from them.

Caesars lack of interest in responding to our request convinced us that he may not be the veteran he claims to be. We then had a closer look at him.

As a result of our inquiries we have ascertained that Caesar is entitled to the following medals.

1. Australian Active Service Medal 1945-1975 with clasp Borneo.
2. Possibly General Service Medal 1962 with clasp Borneo.
3. Australian Service Medal 1945-1975, clasp FESR.
4. National Medal. (9 years RAN service and remainder possible Coast Guard service.) (15 years minimum service required.)
5. Australian Defence Medal.

He has no entitlement to wear the following medals and clasps.

1. Australian Active Service medal clasps Malaysia and Vietnam.(1945-1975)
2. Australian Vietnam Medal.
3. General Service Medal clasp Vietnam.
4. Australian Service Medal clasps 1945-1975 (Special Ops and PNG.)
4. Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. (181 days or more in Vietnam waters.)
5. Pingat Jasa Medal Malaysia. (90 days or more in designated area.)
6. Community Service Medal, tin purchased medal.
7. 2001 International Year of the Volunteer Medal. tin commemorative medal.

In his E mail to his Executive members, he claims that he "saw service on ships and other postings that is not on the public record and perhaps never will be".

If that is the case, why didn't Caesar just contact the Australian War Memorial (AWM) and rectify "their blunder" for not including his name on the Vietnam War nominal roll.

The Vietnam War Nominal Roll has been in existence since 1997. He has had 17 years to correct it. One communication to the AWM could have solved the problem. Not hard.

If he wears the Vietnam medals openly, and has posted photographs of himself wearing them on his Linked In and Face Book pages for the world to see, why is it such a secret?

Why is his Vietnam active service not shown on his Naval records or the Vietnam Nominal Roll?

Why hasn't he corrected it?

Why does his name not appear on any ship's crew lists that deployed to Vietnam waters for six months or more?

Why does he state that he saw service on ships and other postings that is not on the public record and perhaps never will be? He is implying that his service was top secret.

He claims six months Naval service in Vietnamese waters. ( i.e. Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal) We don't know when. He may remember, but he won't tell us! Maybe he was on "Special Ops" again and all his secret records were destroyed like so many other imposters claim on this site.

Maybe he will tell his colleagues at the Fremantle conference in November, 2014 what ship he was on, the dates his ship served in Vietnamese waters, his duties, His Commanding Officer's name etc. We are sure that his SAA members will have a great deal of interesting questions to ask him.

As it has now been 45 years since the RAN completed six months deployments in Vietnamese waters (HMAS Brisbane 6/3/1971 to 15/10/1971 was the last HMA Ship deployed) , Caesar should have no difficulty explaining to the SAA members his secret service in clandestine operations. Surely it is not top secret anymore!!.

After all, he will be their President with the utmost integrity and he will no doubt be leading by example.

So much for his Vietnam service.

If we now look at his alleged operational service in Malaysia and Borneo as he claims on his Honours and Awards Linked In page, he asserts that he is entitled to the Australian Active Service Medal 1945-1975 with clasps Malaysia and Vietnam. He also claims the General Service Medal 1962 with clasps Borneo and South Vietnam.

Caesar enlisted in the Royal Australian Navy on the 2 July, 1961.

According to his records, Caesar served from 1961 to 1964, at Shore establishments and HMA ships. He states that in this time he trained as a Naval Clearance Diver. About the equivalent of an Army Special Air Service Regiment operative. His records do not confirm this and about the only similarity he had to this was completing an RAN "swimming test" in July 1961.

He had service with the HMAS Quiberon from 30 September, 1961 to the 5 August, 1962. During this time the HMAS Quiberon had no active service accreditation. In other words no operational service in that period.

His record indicates that he served on the HMAS Sydney when it was re-commissioned from the 6 August, 1962 until the 6 December, 1962. The HMAS Sydney had no active service accreditation in that period.

He was then posted to the HMAS Parramatta on the 31 December, 1962. He served on and off that ship until 9 July, 1964. During that time the HMAS Parramatta made one 31 day operational deployment to Borneo waters from the 26 May, 1964, until the 26 June, 1964.

His record discloses that for the remainder of 1964 he served at Shore Establishments and on the 14 December, 1964 he flew to the UK for Submarine training.

He states on his National SAA curriculum vitae (c.v.) that he was posted to the United Kingdom in 1964 for Submarine training at HMS Dolphin. He then served with HMS Talent and HMS Grampus. In 1968 he moved to Scotland where he was to standby for the completion of HMAS Ovens, an Australian submarine being built. He states that Ovens was commissioned and he served on her in 1969 as second coxswain.

He now states on his changed Linked in Page, that he left the Royal Australian Navy in April, 1970 and not 1981. He must have had a memory lapse. He was actually discharged on the 1 July, 1970.

Therefore his only operational service was 31 days on the HMAS Parramatta in waters off Borneo. Those facts indicate that he is also not entitled to the Pingat Jasa Malaysian medal which requires 90 days service in the designated operational area.

In addition to this, to be eligible for the Malaysia clasp, Caesar would have to have been deployed in the qualifying area between the 17 August, 1964 and the 14 September, 1966. However, in August 1964 he was posted to Shore establishments in Australia prior to his posting to the UK in December, 1964 for submarine training. He has no entitlement to this clasp.

His claim to a clasp for Vietnam service on his General Service Medal is interesting. The Wikipedia attachment below clearly indicates that Caesar is not entitled to this award.

South Vietnam

This clasp was instituted by Royal approval on the 16 December 1965 for "members of our Australian Armed Forces who qualify by participation in operations in defence of the Republic of Vietnam as from 24 December 1962, and to a date to be determined,..." Between 1963 and 1965, at least 68 members of the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) and 232 members of the RAAF Transport Flight Vietnam qualified for the clasp. However, a decision of 1966 relating to the institution and award of the Vietnam Medal led to the stripping of the award from the RAAF personnel. A Royal Warrant dated 8 June 1968 [2]retrospectively changed the qualifying periods to:
Between 24 December 1962 and 29 May 1964,

• 30 days' service in ships operating in inland waters or off the Vietnamese coast.
• 1 day in the service of a land unit.
• 1 operational sortie.
• 30 days' service on an official visit.

For service after 29 May 1964, personnel were awarded the Vietnam Medal. Thus, only 68 clasps were issued, and all 68 went to AATTV (Australian Army Training Team Vietnam)members.

The last paragraph is interesting. Caesar has no entitlement to this clasp whatsoever. He was never a member of AATTV and he has no Vietnam service.

He also has no entitlement to the "Special Ops" clasp that he wears on the Australian Service Medal 1945-1975. This clasp was awarded to Naval personnel who had qualifying service in Oxley Class Submarines from between 1978 to 1992. Caesar left the Navy on 1 July, 1970.

His Naval records also do not indicate that he is entitled to wear the PNG (Papua New Guinea) clasp on the ASM 1945-1975.

Below are his two tin medals that should not be worn on the left side and mixed or added to military medals. These are just unauthorised medals that can be purchased from the Internet for about thirty dollars each.

The Community Services Medal.

The 2001 International Year of the Volunteer Medal.

Caesar is just one of many high profile wannabees who have worked and bluffed their way up through the system to gain executive positions on Ex Service Organisation (ESO) committees and gain undeserved benefits and recognition.

Recently we exposed former ESO Executive and RAN Leading Sick Berth Attendant Trevor (Doc) Anthony for similar false representations of his operational military service, in addition to four former Presidents of Victoria RSL Clubs who have since resigned or been ejected.

We are also currently investigating other ESO executives who have gained positions through lies and deceit and who will be appearing on this site soon. One even claims that he is a victim of the "tall poppy syndrome". Most imposters undoubtedly think that with the passage of time, they will not be discovered.

Caesar is an imposter without credibility. He should resign, as should all other "tall poppy imposters" currently holding positions in ESO organisations before they appear on this site.

We requested information from him recently regarding proof of his entitlements to medals that he wears and displays on his Linked in and Facebook pages. He failed to respond but two days later, he removed all the offending photographs of himself wearing the non entitled medals from his Facebook page and his Linked in Page as well as his list identifying them all.

As mentioned above, he has also now changed completely his dates of service in the Royal Australian Navy by reducing his enlistment period by eleven years to a discharge date in April, 1970 rather than his previously stated date of 1981.

Unfortunately for Caesar though, the photographs of himself, that he is now trying to extinguish, will remain on this site for evermore as a reminder for him. Also for the world to see what a fraud and charlatan he really is.

He has no respect for all the genuine Vietnam veterans by trying to steal their honour. He should publicly apologise to all Vietnam Veterans. He has also shown complete disrespect to his Submarine Association of Australia colleagues by claiming military awards that he has no entitlement to.

Caesar has committed an offence against the Australian Defence Act 1903 as amended.

Section 80B IMPROPER USE OF SERVICE DECORATIONS.

1. A person is guilty of an offence if-;

(a) the person wears a service decoration and;
(b) the person is not the person on whom the decoration was conferred.

Penalty.

30 Penalty Units or imprisonment for 6 months or both.

In addition to his fraudulent display of medal entitlements that he has not been awarded, we made some inquiries at Harvard University regarding his claimed Doctor of Philosophy (Phd) qualification. We were not surprised when we received confirmation from the Registrar of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Harvard University that they have no Graeme Caesar on their records for this award. They have never heard of him.

We then contacted the Harvard Extension School (On line Courses), but they also confirmed that they do not award Phd's and they also have no record of him. Therefore his claim of Doctor status from Harvard University is also false.

At the time of writing, we are awaiting a response from Oxford University UK in respect to his claimed Bachelor of Science (BSc) Applied Psychology award.
Should be interesting!

The Submarines Association of Australia should take stern action against this imposter and eject him from their organisation altogether before he causes further damage and embarrassment to their good name.

They should also report him to the relevant authorities for his fraudulent behaviour of wearing service decorations and other claims of false educational qualifications, including Doctor status, that he has no entitlement to.

Welcome to the website Graeme Rex Caesar.

Graeme Rex Caesar Update – 23 Apr 15

Graeme Rex Caesar, or Doctor Graeme Rex Caesar, as he likes to be known is at it again.

He is not only a Military Medals cheat but also a false pretender and an outright fraud.

Even following our 2014 exposure of Caesar claiming false PhD (Doctor) status, he still claims to have been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Organisation and Management) at Harvard University, USA.

We have been advised in writing by Ms Caroline Harvey, Enrollment Services Co-Coordinator, Office of the Registrar, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Harvard University, that Graeme Rex Caesar has never been recorded as a Student at Harvard.

He has also never been awarded a PhD from Harvard Extension Faculty (Distance learning) as that Faculty does not offer PhD's. to students.

We have also made inquiries at Oxford University, United Kingdom, where Caesar claims he was awarded a Bachelor of Science (Applied Psychology).

Mr. Max Todd, Assistant Registrar (Compliance) Council Secretariat, University Offices, Wellington Square, informed us in writing that Caesar was never a Student at that University either.

Caesar still claims on his linked in page, graemecaesar.com/styled-3/index.html on his Education profile that he has these awards.

We are still awaiting results from La Trobe University in respect to his Bachelor of Business claims.

Below is a resume of his claimed educational qualifications on his website.

GRAEME CAESAR
Education

I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to study at three of the world's leading universities.

University of Oxford
Bachelor of Science (Applied Psychology)

La Trobe University
Bachelor of Business (Personnel and Industrial Relations)

Harvard University
Doctor of Philosophy (Organization and Management
)

Caesar claimed in the Gold Coast Bulletin on 2 March 2015 that he had the above qualifications when interviewed about a new business that he has commenced on the Gold Coast. The Journalist was told absolute lies in respect to Caesars claimed educational qualifications in an endeavor to obtain free publicity for his new company. The below mentioned article is an extract from that publication.

Caesar came to our notice in 2014 when he was the Interim National President of the Submarine Association Australia. (SAA) (See exposure above) He was intending to stand as the National President of the Association in November 2014 in Perth. He was expected to win. However he was caught out as a medals cheat, a fraud and an imposter beforehand and was duly exposed.

This Anzmi initial exposure caused him to resign from the SAA immediately. He caused serious embarrassment to the SAA at the time due to his high standing within the Association and our exposure of his fraudulent conduct.

It was a timely exposure, due to the fact that at the 2014 Annual General Meeting of the Submarines Association of Australia, the SAA was also commemorating 100 years Australian Submarine Service since Submarines AE1 and AE2 began service with the Royal Australian Navy.

This was in addition to the election of their new National President, which would have been Caesar. Numerous high ranking Royal Australian Navy, Defence Department officials as well as overseas dignitaries attended the 2014 AGM and celebrations.

We have been contacted by executives of the SAA who have expressed their sincere appreciation of the Anzmi exposure, before Caesar could have created any more damage to their organisation by being elected National President, and then being discovered as a Fraud during or after that election.

In the photograph below, Caesar is standing with some highly decorated and senior current and former Naval personnel at the Submariners Walk, Brisbane. We have blacked out their faces due to the embarrassment it would cause them. These other three gentlemen were responsible for initiating a plan for this commemorative Sub Mariners Walk and celebrating the satisfaction of having their ideas come to fruition. In the photograph however, and in the dominating position and displaying his false unawarded medals is Caesar. (Front right of photo)

In the photograph above, Caesar is wearing six unauthorised medals on his rack and a number of clasps that he has never been awarded. These medals and clasps are mentioned above in his initial exposure.

Caesar has threatened legal action against Anzmi. Whilst he continues to wear unawarded medals and falsely claim that he is a Doctor, we will keep featuring him on this site.

We advise any member of the public or business community who deals with Caesar to verify all qualifications that he claims, and be suspicious of anything he says.

We challenged him in 2014 to produce evidence of his false claims to military medals he was not entitled to. We received no response other than threats of legal action.

We again extend an invitation to Caesar to provide evidence of his Harvard University PhD, Oxford University Bachelor of Science and La Trobe University Bachelor of Business. We do not expect an answer, other than more legal threats.

Information displayed on this site is always supported by photographic and/or documentary evidence.

Caesar is fond of free publicity. We have notified the Gold Coast Bulletin about Caesar's fraudulent activities. Hopefully their own update will appear shortly, and he will be given some additional free publicity as well as ours.

Case Notes:

Graeme Caddy of Mandurah Western Australia

If you want to pretend to have served with, or been part of Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) Operations, Perth is not a good environment to conduct your wannabe activities.

The SASR is based in the sandy suburbs of Perth and many ex SASR members have made Perth their home. This lesson was learned by Graeme Caddy of Mandurah Western Australia.

As illustrated in the photograph, initially Caddy was a bit camera shy and hid behind a styrene cup, but an feisty ex SASR member managed to get some other photos showing Caddy’s full countenance.

We hold Statutory Declarations regarding claims made by Caddy, as follows:

“Initially Caddy was heard “mouthing off” about his SASR experience in a Car Dealers premises. He claims to have served in the Royal Australian Airforce and spent thirteen years on Special Operations with the SASR.”

Then again from a different source:

“Before Christmas a friend, and Vietnam Veteran and I were in a motorcycle shop in Victoria Park here in WA, when a chap started up a conversation with my mate. During the conversation this Mr Caddy learned my mate was a Vietnam Vet, so he then stated in front of me that although he was officially in the RAAF, he actually spent 13 years "On Special Ops with the SAS"!!!  Now, my ears pricked up and I asked him exactly what did he do whilst on these special ops, and he replied he was a photographer. I immediately knew he was a fraud because firstly, I didn't know him and believe me, I am, or was well known around the traps in SAS.

Mr Caddy told me the SAS often took he and another chap out on operations. When I asked him where, he would not say.”

Below are some excerpts from the Statutory Declarations

After being photographed it must have dawned on Caddy that he had been describing his Special Operations service to the wrong people and here is a report of his squirming:

“At mid-day today I received a call on my mobile from this Graeme Caddy, suggesting I have "Misunderstood" him!!! Please believe me, he categorically stated he had been in the RAAF, but had spent thirteen years "On Special Operations with the SAS" as a....wait for it....a photographer. I have a witness who I am sure would corroborate my statement and I'm prepared to sign a sworn affidavit if need be.

The truth of the matter as I told Mr Caddy earlier, he has been big mouthing himself and he has been caught out and he is a fraud. I have also laid a complaint against him with the AFP today”

Whether Caddy ever served in the RAAF we don’t know, the point is we do know that he never served on any operations with the SASR.

If all the wannabes who claimed to have served with the SASR had actually served it would have been the largest unit ever formed in Australia.

Caddy’s claim of having participated in Special Operations puts him in the category of claiming to be a returned Veteran, when he is not.  Making that claim is sufficient for him to be charged under the Defence Act 1903 Section VII, Part 80A “Falsely claiming to be a returned airman”. This offence attracts a penalty of $3,300 fine, or six months imprisonment or both. Caddy has been reported to the Federal Police. Those involved should also be aware that State Police can prosecute under the Defence Act.

Caddy is a fraud a liar and a wannabe who will remain on our web site until the day he expires.

Kurt Ronald Southam is 33 years of age. Residing in Caloundra on the picturesque Sunshine Coast, in the State of Queensland can be a very relaxing and rewarding experience. Particularly if you are a former Royal Australian Navy elite Clearance Diver who has experienced the horrors of war in Afghanistan.

It could not be a better place to live, to get away from the stressors and traumatic memories of military life on operational service from “Hawaii to Afghanistan”.

Kurt Southam, apparently discarded his wet suit, flippers, snorkel and goggles, his intricate knowledge of explosives and counter terrorist techniques to become a Business Development Manager for an employment firm in Maroochydore, also on the Sunshine Coast. He is also a strongman and claims the number 1 spot in Australia for the under 80 kilos weight division.

Southam just loves publicity. You only have to google his name and instantly before your eyes, he is pictured posing for the camera lifting everything from rocks to beer barrels and tractor tyres.

Southam may be strong at lifting tractor tyres, but he is weak in character. Very weak indeed.

He is a liar, a valour thief and an imposter, who has used his very mundane Royal Australian Navy service to convince people that he was a highly trained Australian Navy Clearance Diver in Afghanistan. The equivalent of our respected Special Air Service Regiment in the Australian Army. (SASR)

In a published Sunshine Coast Profile article, Southam claims that he was a Clearance Diver in the Royal Australian Navy “serving from Hawaii to Afghanistan”.

His claims also extend to his Linked in Page where he states he was a former elite Naval Clearance Diver.

All of these claims are lies. They are intentional fabrications that characterise Southam’s shallowness.

Southam’s Royal Australian Naval (RAN) career is totally opposite to what he claims.

He enlisted in the RAN in November, 2001. He followed normal procedures and completed his Recruit Training at HMAS Cerberus in Melbourne, Victoria. He was then posted to HMAS Watson in Sydney, New South Wales where he trained as a Seaman, Combat Systems Operator. Unfortunately for Southam, he was not cut out for the RAN and he was discharged in August, 2003 as “Retention not in the interests of the Navy”. In other words , his services were terminated. In the 20 months that he served in the RAN he had no sea time. His postings were at two shore bases in Australia.

About the closest he ever came to being a qualified Naval Clearance Diver was completing a basic swimming test in Recruit Training at HMAS Cerberus in 2002.

His services were terminated as his retention was not in the interests of the Navy. No shame in that. Not everyone is cut out for service life. However, to now claim to be one of their highly trained Navy Clearance Divers with operational service in Afghanistan just shows what a false pretender he is.

Southam never “moved up the ranks until he became a Navy clearance diver” as suggested in the above article. He left at the same rank he joined. A seaman. By his actions, he would not even have the moral or physical courage to pass the selection test of this fine body of service men and women.

Southam is an imposter who likes publicity. We are happy to provide some more.

We understand that Southam gains his motivation from another well known Naval strongman, whose photograph appears below.

Welcome to the site, Kurt Southam.

Another self proclaimed strongman named Ian Ronald Crowden also appears on this site.

Anzmi.net/Crowden. Link.

Crowden was arrested in 2013 for kicking a Customs dog at the Gold Coast, Queensland, Airport. In his defence, he falsely claimed to be a sniper and an Afghanistan Veteran as well. He had no military service and he was later convicted of Perverting the Course of Justice as well for his trouble.

UPDATE 11 JULY19

Neville McBryde Donohue was originally exposed as fraud and wannabe on this website in 2013, after he wore an amazing array of Defence medals that he purported had been presented to him.

Following that exposure he was charged by Victoria Police and put before a Magistrates Court. On that occasion he chose to lie and present false documents. It then took another five years of Court actions to find him guilty of wearing false medal as well as a raft of other charges that he earned whilst tussling with Magistrates and Judges

In 2018 he was finally sentenced to two years and nine months imprisonment. Had he shut his mouth and taken his deserved punishment on his first appearance at court he most likely would have earned a monetary fine and a moderate tirade from the Magistrate.

Donohue is not enjoying his current service with the Queen, and applied to the Court of Appeal to make a late appeal against the sentence he is currently serving. The appeal was heard on 2 Jul 2019.

He has served nine months of the minimum two years nine months he is serving for perjury, perverting the course of justice and making a number of false documents.

Donohue, in his usual cavalier manner, appealed his original sentence on the basis that:

The documents were never received and,
The sentence was to severe.
The Judge erred in his decision.

The Appellant Judges found that the Sentencing Judge, had not only taken all plea material into account, he had also given Donohue an absolute minimum sentence.

In disallowing the appeal, the Appellant Judges stated that no error in sentencing had been made and that, if any appeal took place Donohue would most likely end up having his sentence increased.

Appeal was dismissed, and Donohue has two years more to contemplate his actions.

Perhaps Donohue will now shut up and stop being an idiot who believes he is clever enough to beat our judicial system with falsehoods and forged evidence.

After six years of activity, we hope that Donohue realises that offences that bring discredit to Veterans and ex Service people does not pay, except for board and lodgings.

UPDATE - "Major General" Neville McBryde DONOHUE

Like Napoleon "Major General" Donohue has met his Waterloo. If he behaves himself will be receiving free board and lodgings in a Victoria prison for two years and nine months, if he misbehaves it will be for at least four years and five months.

It has taken six years to get him into prison. Had he fronted court on the first occasion he was charged by police, he would have received a small fine got on with his life. Below are the details of the final episode in the Donohue saga.

UPDATE DONOHUE – April, 2018

Neville McBryde Donohue must now understand that Australian and New Zealand Veterans, ex Servicepersons and the long arm of the law are relentless.  It took five years of Donohue's nonsensical manoeuvres to get him squared away in jail.  He tried all the tricks of a seasoned con man.

He claimed to have terminal cancer and produced forged documents as proof, for which he copped further charges.  On another occasion he produced a Statutory Declaration declaring that he was required for  "special military duty" involving "secret work"

Here is the Statutory Declaration:

 Donohue

Of course he received more charges for the false declaration.

The Police appear to have delved deep into his past and presented Donohue with a raft of other charges as follows:

Use false document to prejudice other (3 counts),

Obtain property by deception (4 counts),

Attempt to obtain property by deception,

Fail to answer bail (3 counts),

Improper use of Defence Service decoration (2 counts),

Impersonate returned soldier (2 counts),

Drive whilst authorization suspended (3 counts),

Impersonate a public official (7 counts,)

Fail to notify employer of cancelled licence (2 counts),

Obtain financial advantage by deception,

Theft from shop.

As detailed in our previous update of April 2017, Donohue was found guilty and sentenced to a jail term.  Not satisfied with blocking the court system for four years with his frivolous and dishonest antics, he appealed the sentence and extended court procedures by another year.

On the date when the appeal was to be heard, Donohue abandoned his appeal and it was struck out.  He was immediately taken into custody and required to serve the remainder of his jail sentence.

It took from ANZAC Day 2013 until 23 March 2018 for justice to be done.  The veteran and ex service community thank law enforcement and the Judiciary for their relentless actions.

MAJOR GENERAL" DONAHUE - UPDATE - APR 17

Go to the very bottom of this page to see the latest update!

“Major General” Neville McBryde Donohue– Major General and Collingwood Supporter

Every now and then an incredibly stupid wannabe will bob his head up and be spotted by genuine Veterans.

In this case the “head bobber” is “Major General” Neville Donohue from the picturesque Dandenong Ranges in Victoria.  Here is our man in all his “Generalship” glory:

Never before in the history of ANZMI have so many reports been sent, by so many, to so few (of us). Veteran forums and networks went viral and the above photograph taken at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on ANZAC Day 2013 was flashed all over Australia. The power of the internet prevailed and another and more interesting photograph arrived identifying Donohue.

In this photograph, Donohue is seen giving a stirring ANZAC Day 2013 speech at St Michaels Church, Kalorama in Victoria, before heading off to the MCG, ANZAC Day Football match, between Essendon and Collingwood, where he paraded his mighty haul of fake medals.

Who is Major General Donohue? Of course any person who barracks for Collingwood football club has to be a bit suspicious, but being a Collingwood Supporter and wearing a huge array of fake Military medals and claiming to be a Major General confirms that he is less than a balanced person.

We are reliably advised by ex members of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals (RA Sigs) that the “General” is in fact ex Serviceman313847 Corporal Neville McBryde Donohue from the Kilsyth area of Victoria. He served in the Australian Army between 1970 and 1976 and was never deployed to any Operational Areas. He has confessed that most of the medals are fakes but says his Vietnam Medals are genuine. That is a lie. He may be entitled to only one medal the Australian Defence Medal (ADM). Perhaps it is just as well, that we have exposed him, as we all know the case of a Corporal becoming a Fuhrer.

This case incited even more interest from the Australian Veteran Community than the Hines Brothers seen here:   http://www.anzmi.net/hines/hines.html

Like the Hines Brothers case, State Police were quick to swoop on Donohue and lay appropriate charges.

The Australian and New Zealand Veteran community are more than ever before, sensitive to frauds, wannabes and medals cheats. Those who take liberties are gambling that they will not be caught and named and shamed on our web site. In this gamble the odds are well stacked in favour of ANZMI. So go ahead make our day.

Donohue will have his day in court.

We will track him and report his disposition.

MAJOR GENERAL" DONAHUE - UPDATE - APR 17

After four years of lies, deceit and denial Donohue has been found guilty in a Melbourne Magistrates Court and earned a little prison time.  Even so, the idiot has appealed his conviction:  Here is the Newspaper coverage:

Donohue UP 1

Donohue UP 2

Donohue UP 3

Donohue UP 4

We can see that the Magistrate got it all correct.  It is unfortunate that Donohue is still exercising his initiative by lodging an appeal.  Let's hope that he is given a harsher sentence as a result of the appeal.

Case Notes:

UPDATE: OCT 19

Ronald William Masters of Wooroolin Queensland

Ronald Masters cares not a fig about tradition and protocol, or what other veterans think of him.

Some years back he was reported for wearing medals he had not earned. On 18 August 2019 Masters attended the Wondai RSL wearing the very same medals he was previously reported for wearing.

There were senior State and local RSL executives attending the commemorative occasion and it is hoped that both Wondai RSL and State RSL Headquarters have counselled Masters.

****

Ron Masters of Kingaroy blames the RSL for his wearing of medals he is not entitled to wear.

He says the RSL told him to wear all the medals shown in the photograph below, except he alone decided to wear the end one which is the ridiculous self purchased “Simpson Medal” that is sold by the Ex Service Organisation called the Injured Service Persons Association (ISPA).  We suggest if you value your integrity don’t wear the Simpson Medal as it is only for donkeys.

The medals that Masters is wearing indicate that he served for fifteen years in the Army. He is wearing six medals, he should not be wearing four of them, yet he is entitled to wear two others.

He is not entitled to wear:

The Defence Service Medal – the third from the left. The wearer must have fifteen years diligent Service.

The National Medal – the fourth from the left. The National Medal recognises long and diligent service by members of recognised organisations that help the community during times of crisis.

Vietnam Campaign Medal – fifth from the left – This award was issued by the South Vietnamese Government for six months (181 days) service in South Vietnam. Those who were evacuated from Vietnam, as casualties, as a direct result of enemy action also received this award.

The last medal, the so called, Simpson “Medal” is a self purchase trinket that must not be worn with genuine medals on the left breast.

Master’s true entitlement is four medals as follows:

First Medal - Australian Active Service Medal 1945-75

Second Medal – Vietnam Medal

Third Medal - Australian Defence Medal

Fourth Medal - National Servicemen’s Commemorative Medal

Masters enlisted as a National Serviceman on the 22 April 1970. After recruit training he was allotted to the Royal Australian Artillery Corps, where he received further training and on the 15th Sep 1970 qualified as a Storeman.

He departed for Vietnam with his unit, 12th Field Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery on the 4th May 1971. On 18th October 1971 he was medically evacuated to Australia via Butterworth, Malaysia.

He had spent 170 days in Vietnam and his medical evacuation was not a result of enemy action. It is believed he was involved in an accident involving trauma and injury to his shoulder and neck.

Masters has two Record of Service cards on his file, they describe his Army Service from start to finish, and these two cards are shown below.

Even though he was wearing four medals he was not entitled to wear, and not wearing two medals he was entitled to, Master’s offence is on the lower end of the wannabe scale.  Any reasonable war veteran who is a member of an RSL would be well aware of his correct medal entitlement. For Masters to state that it was the RSL’s fault is an act of immaturity.

Australian Veterans and the general public are much more aware of offences against Veterans than ever before.  If you offend it is most likely you will be reported and be exposed on our web site,
