Parish
Robert Timothy Parish is the President of the Port Stephens, New South Wales Naval Association he is another ex Service President who wears a self purchased "Tin" medal.
Notice that the medal on the far right of his rack is the infamous self purchased Australian Logistic Support Forces Medal.
Executives of ex Navy Associations have a penchant for "sneaking" in that extra medal or two. Parish has six legitimate medals, he wears seven, and the seventh makes him a medals cheat.
The HMAS Sydney and Logistic Support Veterans Association "flogs" this "Tin" medal for $60 through its web site. In addition it has other Commemorative medals for sale. In the "small print" there is a notice that says:
From the Webmaster: It is advisable that members do not wear commemorative medals alongside their awarded medals. Commemorative medals should be worn on your right breast.
Come on Navy, heed the warning, lift your game and be warned if you wear self purchased commemorative medals with your legitimate rack we will expose you as a medals cheat as we have with Robert Timothy Parish.
